AGRA Galleries is within walking distance of public transport and the tram runs past the door. There is free parking nearby and it is a short walk to Camberwell shopping centre which has many cafes, restaurants, fresh food market and cinema.

Usually the gallery is open Wednesday to Friday 10 – 4, and weekends 1 – 4pm, except over the Christmas & Easter holidays.

You are the best person to speak with viewers and sell your artworks so your presence in the gallery is always welcome.

 

Capacity :

Depending on the size of the artworks up to 150 paintings may be hung in the gallery. 3-d works are welcome and the artist needs to provide plinths and be aware of OH & S requirements.   The rooms are available separately and the gallery plan allows you to decide which space is right for you.

 

Your responsibilities :

Hanging and dismantling of exhibition is to be done by the hirer.

Hirers are responsible for any kitchen waste as a result of their event and the gallery must be in the same condition after your exhibition.

Marketing of the exhibition is the hirer's responsibility and AGRA will do all it can to assist.

 

 

Price & duration:
over two weeks,  seven weekdays & four weekend afternoons which
includes a set-up day.

Exhibitions run Wednesday to Sunday and hanging is usually done Monday. 

Opening event outside normal gallery hours will attract an additional fee of $100.

Extra gallery open times are available by negotiation with an additional fee.

Twin galleries         $  350     (member rate $.300.)

Members' gallery    $  300     (member rate $ 250 )

Commission on sales is 20%  of the sale price.

Signage boards on street front.  $30 x two small, $100 x 1 large.

 

Once you have paid a deposit the hire fee is locked in. Your booking will be confirmed after receipt of 20% deposit which is non-refundable.

Kitchen facilities include fridge, kettle, mini-oven, microwave, basic crockery and glasses.

Promotion on AGRA’s website and the AGRA Galleries Facebook page.

Listing in AGRA’s regular e-newsletter to members of AGRA.

Security system for after hours peace of mind.

The gallery is staffed and we handle all enquiries and sales on your behalf.

Store room for your artworks up to four days before hanging.
