AGRA Galleries hosts a number of exhibitions of artworks each year. These include exhibitions for AGRA members, as well as private exhibitions organised by individual artists and other art organisations.
Exhibitions organised by AGRA
AGRA holds four seasonal exhibitions each year - Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. These are open to Full members of AGRA, regularly with prizes donated by Seniors Art Supplies. For each exhibition, first, second and third places are awarded as well as highly commended and commended works. Artists are allocated points for each level of award achieved in the Seasonal exhibitions. Members accumulate points over a period of time to work toward becoming an AGRA signatory or an AGRA Fellow.
Each year, the three place winners in each seasonal competition are invited to exhibit in the annual Australian Art Excellence Awards.
Once a year the President selects a them and invites all residents of the City of Boroondara, those who work in the ciy and of course, AGRA members to participate. In 2017 substantial prizes will be awarded.
This exhibition is held late in the year. Entry is by invitation only, and is limited to AGRA members whose work has received a first, second or third placement in each of the seasonal exhibitions for the past three years.
The first and second placewinners in the Australian Art Excellence Awards are awarded the AGRA Medallion and erry Collins award, and are invited to submit works for a joint exhibition held the following year - the Medallion exhibition.

This annual exhibition and award is sponsored by the Jack family in memory of Australian artist Kenneth Jack AM MBE RWS. Open to full members of AGRA,it celebrates drawing in all its forms.

AGRA Artists online (AAOL)
AGRA runs an online competition, the AGRA Artists online (AAOL), open to full AGRA members across Australia. Members are invited to submit images of their work for AAOL events.
