*FULL MEMBERS may offer work for seasonal
exhibitions & hang work during general hanging periods, vote & receive
Hues and participate in all activities.
*ASSOCIATE MEMBER is able to participate
in activities and receives Hues but is not able to exhibit or vote.

annual subscription fee of $85 Full OR $60 Associate

At your interview please present the
following:-
1.
Artists CV or detailed description of art career - artistic rationale,
relevant educational qualifications, awards won, classes/workshops
attended, where work displayed, names of galleries & dates of group/solo
exhibitions. Dont hesitate to ask Gallery Manager if you have any
queries.
2.
Sample of three recent artworks. Regional & interstate applicants
may submit a photographic folio OR email folio to brenda@agra.org.au OR submit your website
address for viewing.
OBJECTIVES
OF THE GUILD
·
To foster and support tenets of the Realist,
Traditional and Representative Schools of Art in Australia.
·
To form a bond of union between artists and
to provide a medium through which their opinions may be ascertained and
expressed.
·
To represent artists in their relations with
the community, organs of government, the press and other forms of media,
art dealers and galleries, suppliers of art materials and services and
with printers and publishers.
·
To afford advice and assistance to artists in
problems relating to their profession.
·
To foster and advance education of all kinds,
for artists and persons wishing to become artists and to encourage young
artists.
·
To perform generally such other functions and
to carry out such other activities as may advance or protect the interests
of artists.
***Membership of AGRA includes the networking of name and contact details
of members for professional purposes .If you do NOT wish to participate
in this activity please inform our Gallery Manager. The President, Vice-President and Secretary
are the only persons authorized to make public statements on behalf
of the Guild.
