'Australia
at Large’ is specifically designed to include our distant
members and is the only way to be included among finalists on
AGRA's Artists
of Australia Web Gallery Entry for ‘Australia at Large’ is available to all full AGRA members. There is one winner and two place winners.They will receive a certificate and if they live beyond 100 km of Melbourne we return their entries free via courier for their two qualifying years to the annual Australian Art Awards Exhibition at AGRA Galleries in October or if they prefer they will receive an art materials spending voucher. The winners will be announced in ' Hues' Magazine and on the Artists Web Gallery. |
| Background:-It
is one of the purposes of AGRA to encourage, promote and celebrate excellence
Australia wide. Since 2000 AGRA has awarded the ‘Australian
Art Excellence Medallion’ annually to one artist. Within
the following year, they receive their own personal promotional brochures.
These are sent Australia wide to announce the winner and for the artists
future personal use. There is publicity in local interstate and national
publications and we host the Medallion Winners exhibition at AGRA Galleries
with the runner up in August. Total value over $2700 The Medallion winner is chosen by an independant judge at the ‘Australian Art Excellence Awards Exhibition’ held at Camberwell in October each year. To enter this selection exhibition artists must have been Winner or Runner up in an AGRA Seasonal exhibition or ‘Australia At Large’. |
Australia At Large
(AAL) Competition Entry Form
Entry details 1. All entrants must be FULL members of AGRA. 2. Entry may be either a high quality photo or email* For this competition use 72dpi & 800pixels wide.-. (If you wish to use an expert to record you images book on 03 97865439 . ) 3. You may enter up to 6 entries and must use the official entry form below or the flier in the Hues magazine. 5. Entries will not be returned unless you include a stamped, self addressed envelope. 6. There is an entry fee of $6 for each image entered in the competition. 7. Each entry must be clearly labelled with the artists name, title, medium and dimensions of the work.(Selling price may be shown if work is available for sale) 8. Work will have been completed within the last 18 months, but need not be unsold. 9.Works that have won any AGRA award are not eligible.
10. All entries will be viewed and the winner and runners up will be selected by a panel of three independant judges. 11. The winner and runners up will be notified and all results will be announced on the web site. Please note that winning
entries prints may be retained for future publication will
not be returned for some time so keep a copy.
