...... A.G.R.A. .....

  • AGRA is a busy centre where our gallery manager provides assistance in all aspects of promotion, exhibition and sales of member's artwork.
  • The office takes calls from members Australia wide and we provide a forum where assistance can be exchanged in most matters relating to the profession of artists.
  • Guild House holds the AGRA Galleries, showing member's work and special AGRA or booked, private exhibitions.
  • Members have free hanging in a Members Gallery even when booked exhibitions are in progress.
  • One can  enjoy the art, have a coffee, read member biographies, check the library, participate in painting discussions, book into hands on workshops, specialised demonstrations or book to join members on organised painting trips.
  • Members receive Hues a bi-monthly magazine that is full of both news and thought provoking articles from our members and artistic advice.
  • Professional development activities are offered.
  • The artistic support for members is provided through the efforts of AGRA Councillors who organise and co-ordinate membership activities throughout the year.

The 'Objects of the Guild' are listed on the Membership page.

AGRA is proud to acknowledge the generous and ongoing support of the City of Boroondara who are more than supporting the artistic interests of their local community. By helping to make Guild House available to us we are able to provide an interactive art space not just for those who can reach us easily. We bring fine work from member artists Australia wide. We are therefore in a position to promote, celebrate, educate or assist not only our members but visitors as well.

It's not all work- we have a good time too!
